CS West Wales

  CS West Wales are a group of committed christians who enjoy

  surfing, led by James and Suzi Chapman. We are linked closely

  with all the CS Wales groups, and are part of the national

  Christian Surfers UK. We represent a wide range of characters,

  surfing ability and church background but our common passion

  is God and surfing/skating.

  As a whole Christian Surfers UK has grown dramatically over

  the last few years and has seen many groups develop around

  the country such as our friends in East Wales and many others

  such as Bristol, Yorkshire ... From this growth we felt it a great

  opportunity to set up a group in West Wales that covers such

  areas as Swansea, Gower, and Llanelli..

  CSUK is affiliated to Surf Ministries International (SMI), which is

  a worldwide fellowship of Christian surfer groups such as

  Australia and United States Christian Surfers, South Africa's

  Son Surf Clubs and Surfers for Missions International, based in

  Hawaii.

  CS West Wales has been running for over 5 yrs and set up

  summer 2004. Currently we are meeting on a fortnightly basis

  were we have Bible studies and when possible we meet

  collectively for a surf. We also have many students who join us

  during term time.

  As well as discipling local Christian Surfers we are looking to

  become a practical help and presence at local surf comps and

  surf related events.
